GEKA is an organisation that prides itself on setting high standards for quality early years education. All GEKA Kindergartens are rated at or above the National Quality Standard.
The National Quality Standard (NQS) is a key aspect of the National Quality Framework. The NQS consists of seven quality areas, each containing standards and elements, that children’s education and care services are assessed and rated against.
The National Quality Standard is linked to National Early Years Learning Framework (2009) which recognises that children learn from birth. Combined with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (2009), these outline fundamental components to inform and guide educators in the delivery of nationally consistent and high quality experiences and programs across Australia.
At GEKA we are proud to say that all of our services are rated at or are exceeding the National Standard for quality Education and Care.

- Excellent rating – awarded by ACECQA
- Exceeding National Quality Standard
- Meeting National Quality Standard
- Working Towards National Quality Standard
- Significant Improvement Required
