Dear Parents, Guardian and Caregivers
A quick communication to everybody acknowledging yesterday’s announcement from Premier Daniel Andrews as Victoria moves to a State of Disaster.
We can confirm the following:
- Glen Education management has made the decision to implement 3 CHILD FREE DAYS THIS WEEK. All Glen Education kindergartens will be closed to children this Wednesday 5th August, Thursday 6th August and Friday 7th August.
- As we transition into this new phase, we will ensure everybody in our community receives a questionnaire within the next 24 hours, requesting information to identify who is an ‘essential worker’; who has a child with an additional need; who is deemed at risk or vulnerable and requiring kindergarten based on government guidelines. It is important you respond to our questionnaire promptly.
- Glen Education’s aim at this point is to only operate a limited number of locations based on need. The number of kindergartens open will be based on demand which we will know later this week following your responses to our questionnaire.
- Please continue to watch for communication from us, regularly checking your emails and Glen Education’s communication app Flexischools.
