Glen Eira Reconciliation Action Plan Launch (Friday 13 May 2022)
Glen Education CEO Samantha Kolasa, together with General Managers, Melissa MacMaster and John Raciti, and Glen Education Teacher, Merilyn Griplas, were proud to attend the Glen Eira City Council’s second Reconciliation Action Plan Launch on Friday 13 May.
We witnessed a meaningful Smoking Ceremony, with Traditional Owners welcoming guests to Country. Glen Eira’s Mayor spoke about our reconciliation goals in the community. We heard the powerful voice of singer Jess Hitchcock and were treated to First Nation’s catering, amongst the backdrop of the amazing Confined 13 exhibition by The Torch
