Official Launch of Glen Education Sacred Heart Kindergarten

After what has been an incredible start to the year, the Glen Education Sacred Heart Community were proud to come together, to celebrate the official opening of our brand new service in the City of Monash.

We thank our valued partners for their support and commitment to making this happen:  Brian Martin – Principal of Scared Heart Primary School, Jan Morice – Deputy Principal of Scared Heart Primary School, Brian Little – Mayor of Monash, Cr Stuart James – (former Mayor) Councillor in Monash, Chris Thompson – the Manager of Children Youth and Family Services, Tara McKay – Senior Performance and Planning Advisor for the Department of Education and Training (DET), Julie Meade – Area Manager, Hume, Quality Assessment and Regulation Division, North-Eastern Victoria Region, DET and Steve Dimopoulos – Labor MP for Oakleigh.

We welcome the children and their families and thank them for being a part of our first year.  Special thank you to parent and community member, Emma Saddington, for her drive and determination and for never giving up on the idea of establishing a new kindergarten in Monash.

At Glen Education, we believe true partnerships are created when you can build on the strength of each others’ knowledge and are able to comfortably share insights and perspectives to enable shared decision-making among a wide range of stakeholders.  Our new kindergarten, and the partnerships we have established to make it happen, are reflective of these principals.
